Golf Ruins Boredom

So you decided to just sit around for another year and watch the television for that ever expectant something. What ever it is that we are actually watching for is a surprise to me every time I think about it.

Not only does T/V steal precious time from us but eating, drinking and nearly everything else does as well. Now every golfer knows these things are not needed. Because there is GOLF!

An invention by the most intelligent of men of our past that not only fulfills all of our needs but also helps us enjoy television when and if we ever get to see it again because they show golfing on it as well.

Who would possibly think that walking around seemingly aimlessly looking for a little white dimpled ball somewhere in that sand , mud, grass or forest is remotely more enjoyable than being bored. Well it just is.

Take my word for it because the only option to that would be to go to your local public golf course with a friend or two or even your partner and play a round yourself. We know that will never happen as long as there is digital information flying through the air to give you something to watch on your precious box. Or will it? Go make me wrong.

Loosen Up Before Your Round

By Jamie Faidley

Golf is a sport. You might not have to be incredibly athletic to play it, but it's a sport however. Is there any sport that you attempt to play that you do not loosen up for? Do you really think basketball players just head right on the floor? Do football players stretch before ramming into each other? Then why do most golfers pass on the getting warm part and think they can come out of the auto and start to play without any warm up at all?

If you need to play better from the beginning of the round you need to loosen up with a proper golf warmup routine. With these easy tips you are going to feel great and play great from the first tee to the last putt.

Legs

The legs are the foundation of your stance, so you want to be sure they're warm and prepared. I like to stretch the hamstrings by grabbing my feet (or reach down as far as is comfortable). Keep your legs straight and push down with your chest, not your head.

Back

Stretch your back by doing some trunk twisters. Don't want to look silly? Then place a club flat along your back and pretend like you are turning as you would when you swing.

Shoulders

Hold your hands straight out to your side and do 1 or 2 shoulder circles. Go with little loops then giant loops. Reverse the direction that you are going.

Swing

Make sure you take 1 or 2 swings before you play. Begin with 1 or 2 slow swings to make certain there isn't any tension, then build up where you would swing faster than ordinary.

Those three exercizes should take you all of 5 minutes. Those 5 minutes will get your body ready for the round ahead. No more hearing popping and cracking as you make your first tee shot of the day.
